Tusk 4 Point Harness Install on Polaris RZR XP1000

So, two weeks ago we did a 5+ hour ride on rugged, tight trails at a moderate pace. I’ve had my Textron Havoc X on these trails multiple times and never noticed an issues with seat belt discomfort; the Havoc has PRP 4 point harnesses in it. The RZR, however, still has the stock belts installed. Long story short, that seat belt was grinding on my neck all day. Solution? Buy some 4 point harnesses for the RZR.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune on harnesses, and I found some 3″ Tusk harnesses for $75 each at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. I’ve been shopping with RMATV/MC for years and have other Tusk products, a RMATV/MC brand. Thanks to their point system, I only paid for one of the two harnesses.

The install was easy aside from two runs to Home Depot to get the correct hardware. The hardware I used is shown below.

So far, I’m really pleased with the harnesses. They’re really comfortable and easy to adjust. My PRP harnesses are difficult to adjust, so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of use of the Tusk product. Check out our video below.
