Bad Boy Off-road aluminum CV guards for Textron Havoc X.

I broke the right side plastic guard on a recent outing, so wanted to get something more durable in its place. Country Cat had a set in stock, so I ordered them up. They’re larger than I imagined and made from thick aluminum. They came to me as raw metal, so they’ll really need some kind of treatment. I’ll look into powder coating in the near future.

I thought they’d be an easy install given a few U bolts, but not so much. The holes don’t line up well at all. However, since I liked the overall build of these, I elected to modify with my own holes. With the new holes, they mounted as easily as they should have out of the box. These were originally made for the Stampede, on which the Havoc is based, but maybe the A-arms are slightly different? After all, I’m happy with them, but would expect more given the $150 price tag.
