I recently picked up a new ATV Tek expedition bag for the Textron Havoc X. The Havoc has a nice extended cab area, but there are no tie downs, and it’s difficult to find a bag that makes the most of the space. The search is over; this ATV Tek bag is as near to perfect as you can expect.

Now, to figure out how to tie it down. You can pull up the rear cargo shelf pretty easily by removing a handful of screws and four plastic fasteners. Then you’ll find ribbed structure on the underside of the shelf. I figured I’d take a chance on some truck stake hole tie downs.
As you can see in the images above, the plastic plate from the tie down fits perfectly inside the underside structure of the shelf. The tie downs come with toggle bolts, which are way to long for this application, so I cut them to size and used nylon locking nuts. The result is amazing and solves a problem I’ve had with this machine since day one.
