In 2018 I purchased my new Rzr XP 1000 and needed an immediate storage solution. The options were many, but expensive. I finally settled on the small lock and ride box from Polaris. It did the trick for a while, but it just didn’t have the room I needed.
This year, I decided to bite the bullet and spend more for a better solution. Enter the JEMCO XP II cargo box. Bottom line, I should have just purchased this long ago. JEMCO only makes two boxes, and it’s clear that they’re hyper focused on making them the best they can be. The XP II is cavernous, fits perfectly in the back of the XP 1000, taking up the entire bed, and uses the OEM lock and ride fastening system. I can store three adult helmets inside and still have room for other gear. I’ve had my tools, lunch, a belt, rain gear, and a Stihl Wood Boss chainsaw with 18” bar in there and still had plenty of room to spare. Incredible.
We do ride some areas where it would be nice to be able to lock the cargo box while away from the SXS. The OEM box was lockable, but the lock and ride fasteners were exposed, so a thief could just flip the fasteners and take the entire box. That’s not the case with the JEMCO XP II. The lock and ride fasteners are inside the box, so once locked, you cannot access them.
This box is a winner, and worth the money. Everyone that’s seen it in person is convinced. Check out our install video below:
